Bio<\/strong><\/h3>

Mark ‘Skidder’ Edwards<\/span><\/strong> AKA Incubus Lovechild<\/strong><\/span> is a Shrewsbury, UK-based\u00a0 solo artist playing space rock \/ electronica heavily influenced mainly by 80’s – 90’s Hawkwind<\/strong><\/span>, with nuances of NWOBHM and 90’s trance.<\/span><\/p>

Mark writes & records original lyrics & music and releases them through his recently established record label, SkidMark Multimedia Productions<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, (His last studio album DEADWORLD<\/strong><\/span> garnering favourable reviews on release from Vive Le Rock magazine<\/strong> <\/span>& Eighth Day Magazine<\/strong><\/span>, with his Live release, Live ’25<\/strong><\/span>, also receiving positive feedback from International Times Magazine<\/strong><\/span> – See below).<\/span><\/p>

Live, Mark performs vocals, guitar & synths \/ FX over proprietary backing tracks of his original music. To date Incubus Lovechild has focused solely on festivals, playing ~4-6 a year, examples being Glastonbury Psychfest<\/strong><\/span>, On Board The Craft festival, Sonic Rock Solstice Festival<\/span><\/strong><\/span>, Phoenix Alternative Festival<\/span><\/strong> & Kozfest<\/strong><\/span>, (was awarded ‘Rising Star 2025<\/strong><\/span>‘ @ Mearfest Space<\/strong><\/span> festival). <\/span><\/p>

Has also performed at venues as far North as Dumfries, Scotland and supported label bands such as Electric Cake Salad<\/span><\/strong> in Derby & Paradise 9<\/strong><\/span> @ the iconic Prince Albert venue in Brighton.<\/span><\/p>

Currently working on his next album ‘ALIEN MESSIAH<\/span><\/strong>‘ which, akin to the last studio album, will guest ex-Hawkwind member Niall Hone<\/strong><\/span> on Bass.<\/span><\/p>
