Artist Bio:
Astral Magic was formed by ex-Dark Sun (1991-2007) bass and Moog player Santtu Laakso in 2020. It is essentially a solo project, but most of the albums have several international guests including Nik Turner (RIP), Bridget Wishart, Jay Taysig, Dr. Koch from Vibravoid, Fred Laird etc. Jonathan Segel (guitars, violin, mandolin etc.) and Shane Beck (spoken word) being the most frequent.
At first Astral Magic could make any kind of music that was psychedelic, but lately the more experimental, electronic and/or pop oriented stuff is done by another project Strange Vibrations (also featuring Segel and Beck). So recently Astral Magic has concentrated more on the ROCK side of space/prog/psych/kraut.
The discography here does not include any single, EP or compilation releases.
